The Beatles white album 0045424 MONO vinyl LP 1st press 1968 no emi
LOW NUMBER starts '00.....'
Condition and details below: LOW NUMBER starts '00.....'
Sleeve is intact, some grubby marks and discoloration down the fold and spine, looks a bit water damaged, not too bad and inside is clean, flipbacks intact, and no tears etc. VG
2 Black inners have slight rips in the centre holes , are a bit worn but useable - G+
INSERTS = FADED , MARKED photos, no rips....original lyrics poster is heavily stained in one segment and has some ripping along seams (see photos) - still G overall as all are intact - ...
Labels: - LP1, have some light creasing, surface marks, but VG (no emi recording...); LP2 (no 'Emi recording..') - VG....side 3 label is VG+, side 4 label has slight ripping, discolouration/pen marks = G+....
Vinyl is G+ visually overall, LP1 has lots of marks, light scratches, side 3 has some scratching (see photos), does not skips though
Vinyl, visuals and playback test : LP1- side one, has a lot of surface scuffs and scratches, some impact on play, e.g. hisses at end of dear prudence, a scratch that causes a few ticks across glass onion and into ob la di and another causing some ticking on ...Bill and a bit of a scrape on ...Gently weeps...these are not overpowering though , did not skip on my system, just clicked a few times, a fairly good listen is still had in the main... LP2 , is much more marked/scratched (see photos) than LP1 and, as expected , therefore, has a bit more interference and crackle , no skips though...side 3 , gets better as it goes along; side 4, similar story, lots of crackle in quiet bits , still listenable... G+ overall... ______________________________________________________________________________________________________ PLEASE BEAR IN MIND THAT THIS LP IS AN AGED, USED ITEM, AND WILL NOT LOOK OR PLAY LIKE NEW. I always try to give a fair overview of condition and a selection of photos, which give an indication of what you are buying/bidding on.
I always play test and give a fair appraisal of how the LP sounds on my system; this is always a subjective thing, and so may vary on others - If there are any flaws or jumps detected I will mention this and it will be reflected in the price/starting bid; NB: sometimes items may benefit from further cleaning etc.
Postage is as stated, usually, UK, 2nd class signed for and international sales through ebay's GSP.
My gradings are through the recognised Goldmine standard, and as accurate as I can make them (although please bear in mind it is still subjective and mistakes can occur ) :) - please let me know if there are any issues
