Description
The Beatles White album top opening number 0177628 - 1st UK Pressing complete with 4 photos and the lipstick poster.
Sleeve is in good condition shows signs of wear and tear - especially the corners and edges which are rubbed and the laminate has come away form them. Laminate is intact on rest of cover. The spine also intact but text hard to see and some of the laminate has rubbed off. The BEATLES clearly embossed on front and the number is clear. Printed and made in UK by Garrod and Lofthouse.
Poster is also in good condition. There is no writing and no pin holes. There are small rips along the fold lines but these are not major. I have tried to capture the worse rip on the photos. It is the correct lipstick poster. It is printed and made in England by Garrod and Lofthouse international ltd.
All 4 photos photos are original. NO pin holes at the corners, complete without writing or rips/tears so in very good condition.
Labels in good condition - no writing - have sold in UK text ; an E.M.I. recording and Mfd. in U.K
Side 1 XEX 709-1 (stampers 3; MO) - no deep scratches just minor surface marks plays through with no skips or jumps crackles especially during quieter parts
Side 2 XEX 710- 1 (stampers 3; MT) - surface marks jumps on blackbird and sticks on Julia.
Side 3 XEX 711- 3 (stampers 1 GGH) - no deep scratches few surface marks plays without skips or jumps good sound.
Side 4 XEX 712-1 stampers 4; GGM) - no deep scratches few surface but jumps on Honey Pie and there is a click at start of Good Night otherwise OK.
No black inners housed in white paper inner sleeves.
Good copy of CLASSIC album but if you are looking for a mint copy this is not for you - start price reflects damage to vinyl and cover.
