Description
The time has come for me to part with my 50 year old Beatles collection. This collection consists of LP's, 45's, picture sleeves, EP's, 12" singles, picture discs, sealed LP's, test pressings, acetates, promos, box sets, and CD's from the US and the UK. The collection also includes vinyl and CD's from John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison, Ringo Starr, and Apple artists. There are numerous rarities in this collection. The vast majority of the vinyl is in NM- to NM condition; I tried not to acquire anything with a grade below that, or attempted to upgrade, although a few of the extremely hard to find items I was unable to upgrade and will have a grade below that. If you are a Beatles collector, be sure to bookmark me as the vinyl I'll be listing will surely be of interest. Here we go; a splendid time is guaranteed for all.
The Beatles-"The Beatles Story", a 2 LP set, Capitol STBO-2222,1986 Specialty Record Corp. pressing. This is also a promo pressing with the promo hole in the upper right corner. It's been well established that this is how Capitol designated their promos. Vinyl (in 1/4, 2/3 configuration), VISUALLY graded by Goldmine standards, is in NM condition. Cover is also in NM condition. Inside gatefold lists this as "Monophonic" but it's in Stereo. Classic Beatles, in like new shape, in a scarce format; nice one for the completist. This particular pressing isn't easy to find.
