I have several original Beatles albums up for auction, please visit my other listings. These have all come from my mother's collection, and have been kept in a clean, smoke-free environment since she purchased them, in most cases, as soon as they hit the stores.
Up for auction is this United Artists' release of the soundtrack album to the Beatle's first film, "A Hard Day's Night". I won't go into the history of these recordings as most Beatle fans know the history of these records, how they differ from the original British releases, etc. Instead, I will focus on this specific record and its condition. I am not an expert in grading records, so I'll have to let the pictures tell their story about the condition of the record and its jacket and sleeve. I know my mother played these records quite often, but was always very gentle with them, so I'm assuming the record is in, at least, Good condition, possibly better. My mother did have a habit of writing who she thought sang which song on the record sleeve (which she was sometimes wrong about, but remember this was in the Beatles early days, before their voices became iconic to us), but these are in pencil, so could be erased.
