Very rare US Beatles Mono Sleeve from 1966

Yesterday and Today

The  "Butcher" cover

3rd state (Part Peeled)

Capitol T-2553 Mono

Release date: June 1966

 

The front cover has residue from the Trunk Slick when peeled. Rear has stains as a result of age, use, handling and storage over last 50+ years. no separation of cover, only one break on edge, scans show condition. 

This cover was manufactured in the Los Angeles pressing plant as indicated by the small 6 next to the logo on the back bottom right hand of the cover. 

The Columbia letter is shown to tell the recall story.
