ITEM

The Beatles - Please Please Me - LP**RARE STEREO**

*UK PARLOPHONE PCS 3042-Yellow & Black Labels*

**MISPRESSED GARROD & LOFTHOUSE SLEEVE**

**WITH MID-SIZED *STEREO* SLEEVE**

Original UK  pressing on the Yellow & Black Parlophone Label, This is a RARE STEREO with an even RARER MIS-PRESSED sleeve, You can check out all the Beatles Guides for British Records but this is one that you won`t find in any of them as far as i am aware, Please feel free to correct me if you know different. This issue is from 1964 as the label states Recording 1st Published 1963, But DOES NOT have "Sold in the UK Subject etc.." Also has the Parlophone Credit around the rim of the label. Dick James Credits for "Please Please Me" & "Ask Me Why", Plus Northern Songs Credits For track 1,2 on side 1 and tracks 4,6 on side 2.

 CONDITION

SLEEVE  The Original *MIS-PRESSED Sleeve is made by "Garrod & Lofthouse" and has the Patents Pending Credit on the bottom flipback. Overall it is in quite good condition with a few creases to the laminate and 1 tiny tear on the opening edge, corners are a little scuffed but it is all complete with no bits missing, Overall i would grade at a conservative Very Good, But its way better.**Please believe me when i say that this is RARE only ever made by "Garrod & Lofthouse" and only for a very short period of time, might have only been for 1 day until the mistake was spotted?, anyones guess how many of these there are still about, I have put a photo of the 3 diffrent designs of this sleeve, The MIDDLE one is the one up for auction, but just to give you something to compare to i have put the Large and Small Logo`s in aswell. I have heard that there is a With the Beatles with the same Mispressing but i have yet to see one of these, and apparently this is RARER. The only copy of this i have seen in 12 Years of collecting**

LABELS  Both of the Original YELLOW & BLACK *STEREO* Parlophone Labels have "Recording 1st Published" and the Parlophone Credit around the rim, but DO NOT have "Sold in the UK Subject To Etc.." Nice and Clean, Graded at VERY GOOD+

INNER SLEEVE  The Original Inner Sleeve is also in MINT- Condition, with the "Patents Applied For Credit"

RECORD  The Original UK STEREO Pressing record is in at least VERY GOOD+ Condition but to be honest it is closer to EXCELLENT , The LP still has a nice gloss to the surface but with age comes a little surface use, Mainley from removing the LP out of the inner sleeve, The LP still looks nice and plays even better i would say easy an EXCELLENT player probably a little better, but visually somewhere between VERY GOOD+ and EXCELLENT.
