Description
This auction is for The Beatles' "Please Please Me/Ask Me Why" 45 - Vee Jay Records 498. This record was released in early 1963 and did not chart very well making all VJ 498 variations rare. This one has the group name spelled correctly and was made by Monarch Records in styrene.
THIS HAS BEEN RELISTED DUE TO NON PAYING BIDDER.
The labels are black with color band and oval logo. The song title print is larger than the author's credits. The labels show much wear. There is no writing on the labels, nor any stickers.
The vinyl show MUCH scuffing and many scratches. There is also a small chip on the edge of the record but it does not affect the playing of it. Incredibly, the record does not skip (on my turntable) and sounds remarkable good for being in such a condition.
Visually grades - fair (at best).
Includes original Vee Jay paper sleeve.
