 Original UK 1963 2nd press STEREO vinyl album on Parlophone (PCS 3042). Matrix YEX-94-1 (same as the black/gold label 1st presses). Stampers, side 1: 1 M

                 side 2: 1 G

Comes in the original thick "Emitex" poly inner.

This is one of the ultra rare first batch of yellow/black labels with the small "33 1/3" error. A leftover from the original black/gold labels, only a few were pressed before they realised the error. Sorry for the naff arrow photograph (my camera won't go that far in), but to highlight it for those who don't know what I mean. Other variations only on this pressing, "Beatlescollecting" rate this as "the rarest variation of Please Please Me". Record is in VG+/VG condition. Side 1 has some marks, side 2 has quite a few marks but plays better than it looks.

Sleeve VG+, thick card laminated flipback, has some tick marks against some of the tracks on the back, also bottom flip has been torn (see photo) and bottom edge has come apart a couple of inches. Large stereo print. Good spine.

Labels Ex, nice and bright print, some spindle marks (average).

Overall an above average copy of an ultra rare Beatles LP, reflected in the starting price.
