Description

The Beatles- Revolver- Rare 1966 UK  Mono First Pressing Vinyl LP with " The Gramophone Co Ltd" perimeter text and "Sold in the UK" label text, "Dr Robert" on label and sleeve, front laminated Garrod & Lofthouse flipback sleeve, kt tax code, very first issue with 606-1 matrix on side 2  (see pic 5)/ and withdrawawn"remix 11" of " Tomorrow Never Knows" ( PMC7099)

Pro cleaned before being Play Tested :


Vinyl  a very nice copy of this UK rarity. Side 1 plays through in lovely style with hardly any discernible surface noise, visually just a few  light superficial hairlines. Grades as EX to Ex+

  Side 2 has a superficial wispy sleeve scuff/streak mark only visible under strong light and a couple of light hairlines . Plays nicely with 2 instances of split second light surface noise.  Grades VG+ to Ex


Labels - clean and bright with hardly and signs of spindlewear- EX+


Sleeve - in nice condition for age, hardly any significant signs of shelfwear, just one tiny mark on the right side of the front laminated sleeve and a couple of light bits of discolouration in the white of " Revolver" on the unlaminated reverse see pic 4- Corners and edges really nice. Spine clear and readable - flip backs straight/clean.

Original white  "patents applied for" inner - Ex


  • A lovely 2 owner copy, purchased from the original owner in the 80s and has never been played since then  until today. Has been stored correctly and safely for many years in a smoke and pet free house.







Will also come with a new pvc protective sleeve and a new white paper inner sleeve along with the original inner
