Description
I have a UK Stereo 1st press copy of:
The Beatles-Rubber Soul
Parlophone PCS 3075
Matrix side A:YEX 178-3
Matrix side B:YEX 179-3
Mother Side A: 1
Mother Side B: 2
Stamper Side A: GD (this equates to the Number 10 or the 10 stamper created from the 1st mother)
Stamper Side B: L (this equates to the Number 8 or the 8th stamper created from the 2nd Mother)
Information
there is a stamper created from a Mother for each side of the vinyl, the lower the number the better..both the Mothers and the stampers are low on this copy making it extremely rare, just imagine how many copies of rubber soul in stereo were actually made, in finding one in such great condition for sale in Ebay is extremely rare..so don't miss the opportunity to own a piece of Beatles history
having Low Stampers from Low Mothers is generally considered to give a very clear and high quality audio and are generally more collectable to Beatles record Collectors.
This particular Record is in really great shape and sounds excellent, it is from my own collection and I have only ever played it on high quality HiFi with a very Good stylus
so bid with confidence you will not be disappointed..this is a really well looked after copy which sounds amazing, the stereo separation and overall High sound quality is incredible..don't settle for an inferior sounding copy..it is going to be incredibly hard to get a better sounding original Stereo copy than this one.
The Records Looks VG+
the record shows light surface marks and a few very light surface scratches which do not effect play and quite a few hairlines marks , otherwise it looks in really great condition loads of shine left on both sides of the record, there is one small feel able scratch between track 4 and 5 on side two (please check out the link below to hear the damage and view the photos)
The Record Plays Both sides in EX condition
plays through both sides really well..a splendid sounding copy with Audiophile quality Audio
apart from the light ticking between two tracks please check out the link below..you will be able to watch even if you do not have a you tube account it is only 5 minuets long you will be able to hear the excellent crystal clear Audio which is consistent all over both sides of the record apart from the small section you can hear in the short exert you can hear for yourself that it is no more than a light tick which fades in and out and is mainly evident in the gap between the tracks

The Outer Cover is in VG++ conditions
the EJ Day flipback sleeve is a really strong cover fully intact and readable spine the back cover is still pretty clean (see photos)
The labels on both sides are clean and shiny VG+
very little Spindle wear, the label on side 1 has a bit of clear dried on glue residue just above the 33 top left of the label..it's really not very noticeable (see photo's) and only detracts from the label visually in a very small way..it is only noticeable close up...if it was not for that the labels would be near perfect the label on side 2 is unmarked and in excellent condition
The original Emitex Tracing paper lined inner sleeve is in EX condition
completely intact and in great shape

A word about myself
I am a record collector specializing in 1960’s and 70’s. Rock, psychedelia,Folk Rock, Avante garde, and krautRock.
My Hifi consists of A Linn Axis turntable fitted with a Linn Basik plus tone arm with an Ortofon 520mk 11 cartridge, I listen to my records through a pair of Rogers LS7’s.
I listen to all the records I sell on this setup, and most records I sell are from my own collection, I wouldn’t sell anything that I wouldn’t be happy to own my self or play on my Hifi, I don’t own or sell crackly or knackered records, I am aware the Audiophile quality stylus are very expensive and no one wants to chip a stylus by playing knackered records.

I Use the Record Collector Magazine's Grading Guide:
Please note I will use + and – to denote grades in-between the ones mentioned below.
I grade the cover, labels and record separately
"MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.
EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing.
VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

Side 2 label in excellent condition with very little spindle wear...that's my hand reflected in the run off
visible are light surface marks made more evident than they actually are by the flash
what looks like clear dried glue residue on the label in 2 areas again the flash has picked it out and made it more evident that it actually is
notice lack of spindle wear..the flash has bought out every tiny surface mark on the record
the completely undamaged Emitex inner sleeve
Nice clean rear cover
