Description
The Beatles–Songs, Pictures & Stories of the Fabulous Beatles LP (Mono), Vee Jay Records (VJ 1092) VG+/EXC.
The vinyl of this classic early Beatles LP is in an overall VG+ condition:
• Side 1 plays pretty close to NEAR MINT, with just some occasional light background noise.
• Side 2 plays VG-VG+, as it has a little more intermittent light crackles and some skips toward the end of the side-there are 3 quick skips on Track 3 ("Baby, It's You") and one more on Track 5 ("There's a Place").
The cardboard cover is in EXC condition, with some minor edge/corner wear and a small amount of finish bubbling on the back left side.
Note: This copy has an interesting labeling error-The vinyl label title differs from the title on the cover.
(The label on the vinyl says "Introduction to the Beatles" and the cover says "Songs, Pictures & Stories of the Fabulous Beatles").
The serial# VJ 1092 and the song sequence are the same on both... 🤔
Label weirdness aside, this is a classic old Beatles collection, presented in glorious MONO, as the boys intended! 😎👍
