This is a box set of LP's called "The Beatles Box- From Liverpool" on the EMI Odeon label EAS-77011-18 from 1980. It is a Japanese pressing.
I purchased this box set back in the early 1980's and put it away in a large LP plastic cover to completely seal it. I never played any of the eight LP's in the set.
I forgot what a great item this is! First, it contains eight Japanese pressed LP's. Each one is in an individual, custom laminated cardboard cover. Each cover has a unique individual image of the Beatles (See all eight images in my attached photos.) Inside each cover is an LP protected by an inner sleeve.
The songs included take the listener through most of the Beatles LP and Singles history from "Love Me Do" to "Her Majesty." There are many cuts from each of the Beatles' LP's:
8 Cuts from the "Please Please Me" LP 6 Cuts from the "A Hard Day's Night" LP 8 Cuts from the "Beatles For Sale" LP 12 Cuts from the "Help" LP 8 Cuts from the "Rubber Soul" LP 10 Cuts from the "Revolver" LP 10 Cuts from the "Sgt. Pepper" LP 7 Cuts from the "Magical Mystery Tour" LP 13 Cuts from the White album 5 Cuts from the "Let It Be" LP and 9 Cuts from the "Abbey Road" LP Plus many Singles are interspersed before or after each LP's cuts.

**Also, note that there are Special versions included:
1. The "All My Loving" with the counting in.
2. The "I'm Only Sleeping" (early mix released in USA on 'Yesterday And Today' LP)
3. The "Penny Lane" with extra piccolo trumpet at the end.
4. The set was mastered by Harry T Moss 'HTM' as seen in the runout space. He mastered most, if not all, of the original Beatles LP's.
As for condition, as I said, I bought the box set and put it away. I never played any of the discs. In looking at them now, they certainly appear to have never been played. They are totally clean. To be sure, I played one cut and it was Mint!
The special carton that the set comes in does have some wear and the obi has some rips and wear. I guess that was from my moving from an apartment to my first home to my current home and then shuffling LP's around from time to time here over the years.
Also included in the box set are two inserts. The first is a 12" x 12" 12 page booklet with information on all of the cuts in the LP. Although it is in Japanese, there are also a few photos of the Beatles. The other insert is a 20 page booklet that contains lyrics to all of the songs, both in English and in Japanese, plus a few photos of the Beatles.
This would be a great item for the veteran Beatles collector or for someone not yet familiar with the Beatles catalog, someone who wasn't around back in 1963-1970. It would be a wonderful introduction for that kind of person. At any rate, it is awesome package featuring much of the Beatles' best work!
