The Beatles–The Number Ones (1983 Australian Vinyl LP Compilation with Vinyl, 7" 45 RPM EP - 1st variation.  Australia EMI's version of "20 Greatest Hits" includes a bonus 7" EP with 3 additional tracks, as The Beatles had 23 number ones in Australia. The track line up is exclusive to this release to represent the #1s in Australia. Parlophone black/silver "1-box" label. The LP label perimeter text contains "The Gramophone Co Ltd", and stated "Made in Australia by E.M.I (Australia) Limited" along the bottom perimeter. The EP has a large "A" for side 1 with text in the entire label perimeter. Includes an insert for the Beatles EMI Australia catalog - Parlophone – PLAY.1024)

An excellent copy of this Australian 1st variation – no visible marks to LP with the LP sleeve showing a couple of faint marks where a security seal has been centre opening side – the EP appears unplayed.

The record has been played many times but shows no significant deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks. Sleeve has normal wear and tear without any major defects.

The record has been played enough that the sound quality has deteriorated noticeably and may have pops and skips. The sleeve may suffer from scuffs, spine splits, ring wear and/or discolouration.
