The Beatles - White Album 1st UK Mono Press Complete with all 4 pictures, die-cut black inner sleeves, poster & rare spacer. The labels have No ‘An EMI Recording’ on disc one and 1 A mothers/stampers on disc two showing it to be a true 1st press. Very Low Number: 0026123.
This is a stunning copy of a great record.

Media (Play Tested): EX (Both Discs, All Sides except side one which has some very light hairlines and is graded VG++). Sits completely flat with no warping. Stunning playing surface on all sides, retain a lovely glossy sheen and sounds great with little surface noise, even during the quietest parts. The spindle holes are clean with little evidence of having been played. Low mothers/stampers as you would expect from this pressing. Does not have ‘An EMI Recording’ on sides 1 & 2 but with incredibly low stamper/mothers (1 A) on side four putting to shame the belief that the No EMI labels are on the earliest pressings.
Sleeve: EX. Very low number: 0026123. Very clean with very little age discolouration. It has clean flip backs and good corners and sides. Some slight age wear at top loader. The number is clear and the embossed The Beatles has some laminate lift. A couple of very small marks across both sides and the interior from wear and storage. The spine is barely creased and looks great with ‘The Beatles’ and the Mono and Stereo catalogue numbers fully readable. Absolutely stunning.
Inner Sleeve/Inserts/Poster/Spacer: VG+
+/G+/VG+/EX. All original black inner sleeve are uncreased but with small knicks at the die cuts and splits on the seams, though the records have been stored in new anti static inners. The photos have stains to the rear and a couple of knicks but they are stored in plastic to prevent further damage. The poster has age related discolouration and is weakened at the folds, but not split, the spacer sits perfectly flat and is very clean.
What can I say about this pressing, that you haven’t already read? I will just say that this is a great complete package.
