The Beatles - White Album 1st UK Mono Press Complete with die-cut black inner sleeves. No poster or portraits are included. The labels have No ‘An EMI Recording’ on all four sides showing it to be a true first press. Very Low Number: 0036148.

Media (Play Tested): G+ (Both Discs, All Sides. Sits completely flat with no warping. Has surface marks across both discs that cause light surface noise, during the quietest parts. The spindle holes are fairly clean with evidence of having been played. Low mothers/stampers as you would expect from this pressing. Does not have ‘An EMI Recording’ on all four sides showing it to be a true first press.
Sleeve: VG. Very low number: 0036148. Very clean but with age discolouration. It has clean flip backs and good corners and sides. Strangely it has clear tape reinforcement but no evidence of splitting. Very little slight age wear at top loader. The number is feint but readable and the embossed The Beatles has little laminate lift. A couple of very small marks across both sides and the interior from wear and storage. The spine is barely creased and looks great with ‘The Beatles’ and the Mono and Stereo catalogue numbers fully readable. Absolutely lovely sleeve but not perfect.
Inner Sleeve: G+. All original black inner sleeve are creased but with tears at the die cuts and splits on the seams, though the records have been stored in new anti static inners.
What can I say about this pressing, that you haven’t already read? I will just say that this is a nice affordable Mono 1st White Album.
