White Album 2x lp set
UK,Apple PMC 7067,Mono 1968 Matrix no's: XEX 709-1/XEX 710-1/XEX 711-1/XEX 712-1 GD/M STAMPERS
The sleeve is numbered: 0068080 making this copy quite a low number for a 1st issue of the white album.
Sleeve EX (the gatefold-laminated style is in very good shape with little wear-there is a 1" split on bottom of spine where the lamination has cracked from the sleeve being opened over the years-the embossed wording of, The BEATLES and the number is clear and legible to see.
Disc I have a had a good inspection of the discs and would grade them as between good-fair-there are a lot of marks on vinyl and one scuff that may cause a click when played-the black inners have some wear to them but are intact. The four portrait inserts are missing-although the poster/lyric insert is there-this is wear and is creased.
This item's value I would state is for the sleeve number being relatively low - rather than for the 2 discs etc. Still valued at £500 in R.C price guide

***UPDATE: I have given the two discs a good clean and removed a lot of in grained surface dirt-side 3 after close inspection I would grade as just under excellent grade with minor surface wear but still retains a sheen and should play well-side 4 is VG with some minor marks and a scuff on the last track 'Good Night' which you can feel with tip of finger-again this may click but due to past experience I doubt it will jump or cause any damage to a diamond stylus. The other disc is still graded fair with lots of markings on vinyl surface.***
