Description

This auction is for "The Beatles - White Album" Apple Records SWBO 101 - double LP w/gatefold cover and poster (sorry, no photos).

This cover is numbered (A1819769) and has a very rare sticker adhered to the front. The sticker is listed in Perry Cox' latest record guide as $600 in near mint condition. Obviously, this sticker is not in that condition (darn), but still looks pretty good and is very hard to find. The cover has four split seams (front and back of the gatefold) that have been repaired very nicely with clear packaging tape. The cover grades G, but actually looks better than that grade.

The vinyl has some scratches, etc. Visual grade - VG. The song title is listed as "Bungalow Bill" instead of "The Continuing Story of...." indicating that this is an early release. The B side labels have the "Capitol" logo in the rim print. The labels, incidentally, are unmarked and in nice condition.

The poster is included, but there are no photos included in this auction.
