Description
Hello there and welcome to my auction. Please read my descriptions carefully before you bid. Please make sure you read everything especially the condition of each vinyl. The grading and criteria are below.
This is an auction for: The Beautiful South – Carry on up the charts (The best of) – RARE Original Vinyl LP album from 1994.
Please Note: This is a long album pressed onto a single piece of vinyl. Therefore you have turn up the volume higher than you would on shorter records. This does reveal more surface noise than shorter records.

This is the standard 1LP version. It also features Jacqui Abbott singing "Let love speak up itself" instead of the Paul Heaton vocal.
Vinyl Condition: G/VG (Record has a lot of light surface marks, light scratches and some light scuffs visible in places but is in good shape and plays very well. There is some crackle and some clicks and pops heard in places. The run-ins are a bit crackly but do clear up when the music starts. There are a few pops at the start of side 2 but again clears up quickly. There is some surface crackle and clicks and pops in places but overall a good listen and a fantastic album. No sticks or jumps).
Inner Sleeve Condition: EX (Card inner sleeve is in lovely condition. No splits).
Outer Sleeve Condition: VG (Some light edge and corner wear & creasing but is in nice overall condition).
I grade my records as follows:
M = Mint: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Unplayed and sealed records are referred to as Mint.
Ex = Excellent: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is no lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have minimal wear and/or creasing.
VG = Very Good: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch.
Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects.
G = Good: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.
Fair = The record shows signs of extensive play and may have many marks and deep scratches but will still play ok but with significantly lower sound quality. Artwork will be rather worn with possible splits, small rips, scrapes, dents, or maybe water damage.
