Description

Another record from my collection, this is The Beautiful South's Miaow from 1994. This is a pretty scarce record as CD's were what most people were buying at the time, & rarer still it has the alternative cover illustration which was changed just after release. It is a 1st pressing on the Go Discs label, catalogue number 828507.
Deadwax runout grooves read as follows. Side 1. DFI 94 3 828507 A 2 Side 2. DFI 94 3 828507 B 2
Please note I always play my records through before I grade them so I don't have to guess.
The vinyl is like new, with no spindle marks on side 1 & just a couple of faint marks on side 2. Vinyl is glossy black, with no marks or scratches I can find. It plays very well indeed, with no clicks or pops or jumps. Any crackles in the quiet passages between tracks is minimal & does not intrude on the music. I rate the record as a solid Ex+. The inner sleeve with lyrics is unmarked & like new. The outer cover is in super condition with no writing, stickers, creases or stains. It is also free of ringwear. Apart from very minor print loss on a couple of the edges it is also in great condition, I rate it as an easy Ex.
I have always kept my records clean, but before I sell them I always clean them with my VPI RCM & put the record in a new anti-static inner sleeve, & the cover in a new cover also.
I always insure my items for their full value & do not make any money on postage.
Collection from BH22 near Bournemouth is also welcomed.
