Description
The Beautiful South " SOLID BRONZE - GREAT HITS"
This compliation of The Beautiful South's greatests hits will need no introduction. It is here being offered from my personal record collection in 2x LP VINYL. I have owned this album from new.
The vinyl version of this album was released in 2001 by Mercury Records in very limited numbers and is now very hard to find. Please do have a look on Discogs and others sites and see how rare it now is.
I have only played these vinyls on my Rega P9 with Dynavecta DV20 cartridge, so they have been well looked after. It has been stored in my record collection in heavy PVC sleeves out of direct sunlight.
As a collector myself I know both condition and rarity are important. What follows is my conservative and critical description;
Both the vinyls do show a little sleeve wear, so I am conservatively grading these both Very Good +.
The sleeve remains glossy, bright and crisp. The white front cover remains white. There are four very small creases, which I have attempted to photograph. The round sticker on the front is unmarked. The gold on the back of the sleeve remains glossy but the spine shows a little abrasion of the gold on the edges (again see the photos). There is no ringwear or vinyl rub on the sleeve or spine. I have described the sleeve as Excellent.
