Description
For a period of about 8 years in the late 60's and the early 70's , records were being pressed in Lebanon under licence from the parent record companies. This stopped when the local civil war broke out in 1975 and was never resumed. Only very few copies of each record were pressed (that is particularly true of the color vinyl records like this one). So, if you do find a record that is pressed in Lebanon, be sure that it is a very rare item.
The Bee Gees - How Can I Mend My Broken Heart/ Country Woman (Polydor 2058115)
This Polydor Records 45 rpm single was pressed in Lebanon by Philips Liban. If you look at the scan, you will see that the label says Made In Lebanon. Another thing that makes the record very rare is that the vinyl is multi-colored. The record is in VG condition. The record comes in an original Lebanese Philips/Polydor sleeve. In the five years I have been buying and selling Lebanese records, I have come across some other colored Bee Gees 45s but I don't recall seeing this one before so I am sure it is rarer and harder to find than the others.
