Only 2 x UK Discogs members own a copy, & it has never come up for sale on Discogs!! ## ----- Melody is the soundtrack album for the film Melody. It was released in 1971 and is performed by the Bee Gees, Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young, and Barry Howard (aka Al Barry) of The Aces, Desmond Dekker's backing group. It reached No. 1 on the Japanese charts. "In the Morning" was first recorded in 1965 by The Bee Gees, and was re-recorded in 1970 for the film; its title was changed to "Morning of My Life", though the song is credited under its original title on the album. The songs "Melody Fair", "First of May", and "Give Your Best" were originally released on The Bee Gees' 1969 album Odessa.----- The Vinyl is described as somewhere between Excellent & Near Mint. A few extremely fine hairlines and/or sleeve marks to both sides. Several spindle marks to both labels & side 2 label has a small strip of paper loss. The Vinyl has retained nearly all of its rich waxy lustre. The Cover is described as VG+. There is some visible edge/spine & corner-wear. There are some fine cracks to spine & edges with associated wrinkles. There is some minor ring wear to front & verso. There are some colour losses to edges & spine. There are some areas of foxing to front & verso. No seam splits visible as the cover has been strengthened using appropriate tape both inside & externally. Couple of minor stains here & there.
