Up for bid is a quite rare 1967 45 rpm record of The Berries, a garage rock band from Iowa. IT IS MINT...ORIGINAL OWNER. As far as the sound, think a great combination of The Searchers, The Beatles and The Hollies. Both sides are REALLY good original songs from the group. The production value is also quite good.
The recording was made at a small studio in Milford, Iowa in 1967 and released on IGL Records, (defunct some time ago), the studio's own label. I have never seen or heard of another copy of the record in my collecting years. This is the only record by the group, whose history after the record's release is unknown. Too bad, they sounded pretty good.
