Description

Set of four original 1st UK pressings of The Bessie Smith Story in Four Volumes. (Volumes 1 to 4 included)


The records visually grade as EX with a few fine hairlines and paper scuffs only. Certainly nothing obvious or feelable. I have played some of them through and they played really well on the whole. A little light crackle on run ins and in a few quiet sections but I’m not sure how much of this is from the original recordings. Certainly no major issues or anything to impact on their enjoyment at all. Play grade is EX.


The sleeves are EX too with a little light discolouration near spines and light handling/storage marks on the rear. Again nothing major. EX
