Description

The Best Of MUDDY WATERS Chess LP 1427 MONO 1st U.S. pressing on black label Chess labels released in 1957.

Incredible compilation of early Chess singles. Highly influential to countless bands, especially 60's UK bands.

VINYL in G+ with several scratches/scuffs covering surface. Plays REALLY WELL with clear sound, no groove wear that I heard, lots of background crackle but does not overwhelm music.

COVER in G condition with old masking tape on top and bottom seams, scratching on front, yellowing/staining on back, former owner's name written in blue on back (See photos), spine has staining, rubbing with middle section blown out from record coming through, no longer readable.

Nice starter copy of this essential title!! Will be mailed in proper mailer with record removed to prevent further splitting.
