Description

Quite honestly, the holy grail for Beta Band collectors.

As far as I know this is the first ever copy that has ever come up for sale.

The Beta Band one sided 10” Acetate- Inner Meet Me remix

Only 25 copies were pressed onto acetate by the band back in 1997 and given out to friends.

Each one came in a sleeve hand painted by the band.

I was given this by the by the bands PR as a thank you.

Because the paper sleeve was painted with water based paint (probably watercolours) the sleeve has split (see photos) The label appears to have been done in tip-Ex

A few years later I got Steve Mason to sign it for me at an instore.

The Acetate is unplayed (as I know they deteriorate on playing) and I have been the only owner.

I’ve added a few extra bits of ephemera the first two flower press issues fearing amazing original artwork.

The first has a tear on the cover but is otherwise mint.

The second is signed by Steve Mason and is mint.

I’ve included the legendary first official press photo from 1997 (infamously not featuring the band at all - just a bunch of people working in a 1970’s TV factory).

Finally an unused aftershow pass from their legendary show at London’s international student house in May 1998.

Dispatched with Royal Mail signed for.
