The Big Bopper - Debut EP
(Mercury ZEP 10004 UK 7" EP 1959)
This is an original UK 7" EP pressing. It has a matt flipback sleeve. The record has a 4 pronged round centre. It has 1st press -1N/ -1N matrix stampers. A very rare UK Rockabilly/ Rock 'N' Roll EP. This seldom turns up.
Sleeve: There is a thin strip of tape stain at the front & rear sleeve opening. There is some mild to more moderate rubbing wear to the spine. This has cause a 4 cm seam split at the centre of the spine. There is some moderate rubbing wear to the bottom edge, & some mild rubbing wear to the top edge. There is some mild to more moderate ringwear too. VG- condition. Vinyl: There are some mild to more moderate sleeve rubs can be seen under a strong light. VG- condition. The labels are clean & show mild spindle wear. Plays VG to VG+ overall. There is some light, or mild, crackle in some quieter places.
Grading adheres to “Record Collector” specifications. I shall use good quality packaging (proper vinyl mailers & two card dividers).
