The Birthday Party Junkyard Vinyl Germany 1982 Excellent GBD 0040 Nick Cave.
This is a first edition from Germany but not the very first pressing from Australia. Hard to find this version being sold in the United States. You can maybe see in the pictures all the writing is in German on the record itself. This band was one of my first introductions to Australian underground rock and post punk. I found these dudes before I listened to Nick Cave. Definitely from his punk days. But it’s not standard punk. It’s kind of experimental punk. The guitar tone is one of a kind for sure. This was my favorite band for awhile and this was my favorite album. It has a different production style that sounds more live.
Record and all sleeves are in Excellent Condition. A few very light superficial scratches on record that won’t affect playback quality of listening. It says in the matrix runouts:
