Description

This is a 45 rpm vinyl record of "The Bishop" doing his versions of "Roll over Beethoven" and "Folsom Prison Blues". This stereo recording is on the Lou-Nieta label, #LNS-0211. It comes in a plain, used sleeve. I listened to both sides on my mid-tech record player and my opinion is:

  • Roll over Beethoven: The best side. Plays well with minimal crackle or distortion.
  • Folsom Prison Blues: Has some bacon crackle sounds through about the half way point, then seems to clear up fairly well.
I think both sounds play well but if you're very particular this is not a pristine record, but does seem to be hard to find in any condition.
