Description

An original 1st press of COMPANION on UK Def American from 1992. Matrix A1/B1. The vinyl comes housed in an original cover with the bespoke inner sleeve. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex/Ex-) In lovely condition and has only seen light use. Under close inspection I can only make out a few very slight marks per side - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly EXCELLENT level of playback with just brief deviation in a couple of spots. Intros and inbetweens are very nice and quiet and the audio comes across with excellent clarity. Very little to take issue with here. A clean player with some lush audio. I detected a few crackles in one isolated spot per side [e.g. intro to THORN]. But basically a cracking little player. Lovin' it. One of the labels mentions a name written in black.
Cover (Ex) In great shape - many will not be looking this tidy by this point in time. A lovely clean and flat front with barely a crease - just slightest handling top right. The rear is equally good - no issues. Only very slightest edge wear and sharp firm openings. The text on the spine is 90% legible with just a bit of wear here and there. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity.
Inner (Ex) No signs of ageing. No splits. The name of "Sue" written in the thumb-notch.
