The Black Dyke Mills Band, is one of the oldest and best-known brass bands in the world. 'Thingumybob' was an instrumental composed by Paul McCartney and was used as the theme to a Yorkshire Television sitcom of the same name starring Stanley Holloway. The flipside was a brass band instrumental version of another Lennon/McCartney song, "Yellow Submarine".
This scarce copy is a UK 1st pressing on the dark green Apple Records label: APPLE 4

Stamper codes: 1/R & 1/R
'1003-A1 & 1003-B1' are crossed out in each respective run-out.
Housed within an original UK glossy Apple company sleeve.
CONDITION
Disc: EXCELLENT
A clean & unworn set with the only blemish being an almost invisible number written in the upper black section on the 'A' side. Both playing surfaces are clean with just some faint clouding on the 'B' side and and some harmless light hairlines visible directly beneath my powerful halogen desk lamp. This copy has received minimal careful play and apart form a touch of light background, is without any significant deterioration to the sound quality or any major faults.
