On Offer is a beautiful copy of the 'Blues at Newport 1964 - Vol 1', issued on the Black and Silver Fontana label in 1965. A great blues album featuring some great artist's including Sleepy John Estes and Fred McDowell, but the gem on this album is the Robert Pete Williams material particularly 'Midnight Boogie' which is simply stunning, and also only available on this album. This LP like Vol 2 is difficult to find particularly in this condition, it comes from our own collection and has been very well cared for.
The vinyl is graded Near Mint, really clean and only one light spindle mark showing it has been played a couple of times only.
The glossy front laminated sleeve is solid, excellent and clean. The paste on reverse is also clean and bright.
The spine is solid and clean and all text is legible.
Labels are very clean.
Original plain poly-lined inner sleeve is excellent.
