The Box Tops "THE LETTER"
SS 2044 1967
b/w: "HAPPY TIMES"
Sent to radio DJ, Ian Grant 55 years ago, but never played, this classic Box Tops chart hit is in the kind of condition any serious collector would be more than happy with. No spindle marks - just beautifully shiny vinyl. Although, it bears the DJ's name stamped on the A-side, I believe, having worked in radio, the radio station would have placed it there, as was the case with most radio stations - especially during the 60s.
Original Stateside sleeve is in excellent condition with just a couple of very tiny splits to the opening edge due to very long term storage.
Not many of these demo copies floating around - especially in the condition this copy is in.
