The Boys Next Door DOOR DOOR 1979 LP Festival Records Nick Cave
Rare opportunity to acquire this early Nick Cave album statement from pre-Birthday Party days, although every member of that band is present on this recording: Mick Harvey, Rowland Howard, Tracy Pew and Phillip Rowland. The album was a gift to the present owner Julian Cope during a 1981 Australian tour, but was played perhaps a couple of times and no more. This record has just been played all the way through and is in superb condition. No crackles or jumps were encountered anywhere on the record except for one large pop between 'After a Fashion' and 'Dive Position', but even this does not intrude into either song. The record sleeve has suffered some rubbing caused by the disc itself (please see photos), but is otherwise still clean and crisp. Many thanks for looking.
