The Boys Next Door released an lp and this Ep before changing their name to The Birthday Party in 1980. This is the Hee Haw Ep recorded in 1979 on Missing Link Records.  Vinyl is NEAR-MINT  and the Cover is in Excellent condition. Australian import.

Notes:This intensely challenging and influential Australian band put everything it had into making inhospitable and unyielding records and wound up as the yardstick by which countless bands have since been judged. With partial comparisons possible to such noisy free-formists as the Fall, Pere Ubu and Public Image Ltd., the Birthday Party's unique sensibility sprang from singer Nick Cave (who wrote most of the lyrics) and guitarist Rowland S. Howard, who took care of a good chunk of the songwriting.Before relocating to London from Melbourne, the Birthday Party released several Australian-only records, the first two under their original name, the Boys Next Door.

GRADING: All vinyl is visually graded unless otherwise noted. Grades are as follows:  Near-Mint (NM) (like new), Excellent (EX), Very Good + (VG+) and Very Good (VG) - I don't sell anything below VG unless it is very hard to find.

All LPs come boxed carefully in corrugated boxes made specifically for LPs, plus the LPs are housed in clear plastic LP sleeves. LP is removed from cover ( except for SEALED LPs)  for shipping to prevent seam splitting.
