Description

Various Artists - "The Buntingford LP" Vinyl LP.

Original 1980 UK-issue 13-track Limited Edition, White Label LP on Small Town Records.

This is a collection of early-1980 recordings by bands based in and around the small Hertfordshire(UK) town of Buntingford. Most of the 7 bands contribute 2 tracks (one on each side).

Originally planned for release on the local Vendetta label (which released a few - now highly collectable - singles), it never actually saw the light of day as a proper commercial release, and was only pressed up in this very limited White Label edition for local sales.

Includes a couple of tracks by The Runs (who also recorded a (now collectable) punk single called "Bun In The Oven" for Carrere) and a Runs-related band, Riverside Rocky.

A Rare and obscure UK Provincial Punk/Post-Punk/Power-Pop collectable.

Great Vinyl, Top Sleeve (see detailed gradings below).
This copy has survived it's 32/33 years fantastically well !!

Condition :-

Vinyl - VG Plus
- Just a couple of ultra-faint, superficial hairline marks. Little sign of any play or handling.
- Tiny "pit" in the pressing on Side 2, which may cause a click/pop for a few revolutions on some systems.

Sleeve - EX
- No sticker marks or writing, No ringwear, No edge wear, No splits, No creasing.
- Just very light corner rubbing and general handling/storage marks.

Labels - EX Plus / EX
- Plain White Labels with side designations handwritten on.
- No wear or sticker marks. No spindle marks. No fading.
- A couple of tiny, faintly discoloured spots on the "That Side" label - Hardly noticeable.

Despatch and Packing :-

All items are normally posted within 48 hours of receiving payment.
Where payment is by Cheque (or Paypal's eCheque), items will not be despatched until the cheque has cleared.

Purpose-designed mailing/packaging materials will be used.

Your record(s) will be well protected against the rigours of normal handling/shipping, including getting wet in the rain!

All records are packed outside of their main packaging (in a new plain inner where necessary), to avoid sleeve splits in transit.
