Description
Hello there and welcome to my auction. Please read my descriptions carefully before you bid. Please make sure you read everything especially the condition of each vinyl. The grading and criteria are below.
This is an auction for: The Butterfield Blues Band - East West - RARE Original Vinyl LP album from 1966.
Original MONO Pressing
EKL-315
Orange Electra label.
What makes this even better is that it is in Fantastic condition and is pretty much a final upgrade. I have never seen better. It is almost time-warp.
Vinyl is Manufacured in England and the Sleeve is Printed in the USA. All early UK copies as far as I know have the USA printed sleeve.
If you want the album then please bid. No offers or silly emails asking me to reduce the price. Genuine questions are welcome though.
Vinyl Condition: EX (Stunning condition. Clean shiny black surfaces with only the lightest lines visible under a strong light. A few spindle marks but overall really superb. I have never ever seen better copies of this album in its original MONO format).
Inner Sleeve Condition: G (Plain white inner has some yellow spots and corner dog ears but is intact and its nice to have the original).
Outer Sleeve Condition: EX (Original "Printed in USA sleeve" is absolutely fantastic and looks like its just come from the record shop back in 1966. There are some very very slight creases and a small price sticker on the back. A few very light stain marks to the spine but nothing major. This is being really picky to be fair but I believe in being thorough. It really is as close to perfect as you are likely to get).
I grade my vinyl’s as follows:
M = Mint: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Unplayed and sealed records are referred to as Mint.
Ex = Excellent: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is no lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have minimal wear and/or creasing.
VG = Very Good: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch.
Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects.
G = Good: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.
Fair = The record shows signs of extensive play and may have many marks and deep scratches but will still play ok but with significantly lower sound quality. Artwork will be rather worn with possible splits, small rips, scrapes, dents, or maybe water damage.
