Description
5th Dimension a 1st press from 1966 on the UK CBS label. Matrix A1/B1. Please not labels are textured and display the '33' speed - this is indicative of 1st press. The heavy set vinyl comes housed in an original cover with flip-backs [later copies do not exhibit flipbacks]. Also included is the original CBS advertising inner sleeve. So, 100% original and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex+) Wow! This is one seriously well preserved slab of vinyl. Shiny like new and has clearly only seen light use. Under close inspection we struggled to make out a single mark. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an EXCELLENT+ level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are nice and quiet and the audio comes across with perfect clarity. Audio quality is absolutely superb and exhibits a very high level of transparency. Interference is almost non-existent. We didn't detect more than a couple of crackles [literally] the whole way through. An absolute joy to listen to.
Cover (Ex) In great shape and someone has clearly been looking after it down the years. Nice shiny front with just a couple of crease. The rear is mostly free from fade - just a touch in a couple of spots. Those all important flipbacks are in top condition and all secure. The spine is 100% intact and overall the cover retains excellent rigidity. What a beauty!
Inner (Ex) A few creases but totally intact. Just one slight side split.
