This double LP is from my personal collection. I am an audiophile and have been collecting vinyl records for 52 years. I purchased this LP in 2002 when it was released. I have played it once. That is the only time the LPs have left their sleeves. The LPs and gate-fold jacket are in mint condition..... flawless.
This is a double LP set that contains all of the singles released by The Byrds by the original group of musicians.
The Byrds were formed in 1964 by Roger McQuinn. The original group was a five-piece band of McQuinn, Gene Clark, David Crosby, Chris Hillman, and Michael Clarke. Gene Clark left the group in 1966 and the Byrds were then a four-piece band throughout 1967 when Crosby and Clarke then left the band in late 1967.
The Byrds pioneered the musical genre now known as folk-rock. The Byrds signature sound has been very influential on successive generations of musicians.
This double LP contains all of the Byrds recorded singles including some that were withdrawn as singles but included on their LPs and some that were recorded but withdrawn and never released. These are included on this double LP for the first time in any format.
These LPs were pressed by Sundazed Music on 180 gram vinyl from the original mono master tapes.
