Mastered by Steve Hoffman, on all vacuum-tube equipment,

from the original first generation stereo Master Tapes

NOT from the “Greatest Hits” copy-tape used to make the standard release Lp, but each song for the DCC Lp was taken from the 1st generation master tape of the album from which it came.  Search the Hoffman music forum for the terms “GH compiled original master pain butt”, and see post #8.

Condition: Sealed Album Cover

(VG+) One very slightly bumped corner, no edge wear, no ring-wear, but has a seam split starting in the spine, if you look carefully where the word “Hits” is printed (see close-up photo).  My packaging technique should prevent any further split at that location or anywhere else, and the included DCC bonus replacement cover has no problems at all.  The perforated plastic along the opening edge of the loose-fit outer plastic cover is completely intact and sealed.   Large gold foil DCC sticker attached to outer plastic on front, small gold foil sticker (Limited Edition # 0563) on back cover, lower left-hand corner.

Purchased years ago from Tom Port to go with this album.

Double-Box Packaging:

The sealed Album will be placed inside an additional new clear poly outer protective album cover, sandwiched between two album-sized cardboard stiffeners which are then carefully taped, lightly squeezing the album between the cardboard stiffener edges, enough to prevent the album from sliding up and down or side to side, preventing any seam splits to the sealed album during transit.  The album is packaged in a record LP mailer box with cardboard stiffeners and sealed.  The record mailer box is then placed inside a larger heavy cardboard (200Lb. Test) shipping box, surrounded by foam peanuts and/or bubble-wrap.  Your record album will be packaged securely and insured. (see photos below)

There is no reason to take chances with substandard packaging methods or materials!

eBay History of Record LP sales:

Most of my eBay feedback is from record LP sales and purchases, going back 12+ years.  If you click on my Feedback number and then click the “Feedback as a Seller” tab, you will see that nearly half of my total is from Sales, and nearly all of it is from the sale of vinyl record albums.  Please do check my Seller feedback comments with regard to accurate LP grading, safe packaging and timely shipping.

I leave feedback for the Buyer after they receive the package and leave feedback for me.  If there is any problem, please contact me before leaving any feedback, so that I have the opportunity to resolve the issue.  My goal is to have happy customers, positive feedback and repeat business.  

Payment, Shipping and Return Details:

Payment: I accept Paypal, and ship to the confirmed Paypal address.  Payment required within 4 days, per eBay rules.  If payment is not made in 4 days, the sale will have to be canceled and the album will either be re-listed, or may be offered to the second highest bidder if it is a regular auction listing.

Shipping and Handling Time: Items normally ship the second day after payment (excluding weekends and holidays) with email notification and tracking info.

Return Policy: If the album(s) were damaged during shipping, or a significant error has been made in the description of condition, please contact me within 3 days of receipt and have the album returned to me within 14 days, packaged as you received it in the original shipping boxes (unless damaged) for a refund of the purchase price and original shipping.  Return shipping is the Buyer’s responsibility. 

 Packaging Photos:

These are the packaging materials and sequence:

1) First a layer of foam peanuts in the large outer shipping box, the brand new box is 200Lb test heavy cardboard.

2) Next the album, sealed inside a standard Record Mailer box, with cardboard stiffeners (the way most sellers ship albums) is placed on the layer of foam peanuts.

3) Every side of the Record Mailer box has approximately 1” of foam peanuts for padding protection.

4) Final layer of foam peanuts, filled to the top.

5) Large outer box sealed.
