Description
You are bidding on one used "Disintegration" LP by the CURE. This is the UK picture disc version released in 1990 on Fiction Records - Catalog FIXHP14.
This was a limited edition Picture disc - comes in a PVC sleeve.
If you are looking for a good sounding LP, this is NOT the item for you - These Picture discs from the late 80's were known to be inferior sounding with multiple issues including skips, pops etc. and this particular one falls into that category. There are several skips and pops over the duration of this LP. I would grade it the Good to Good+ range. Nonetheless, it is a super cool picture disc - and a nice collectible item - I had mine displayed on my book shelf for years. I would buy it more for its aesthetic value and not necessarily for its sound quality.
The sleeve is also very unique - it is part translucent PVC with some light blue artwork on it - and "The Cure - Disintegration" in orangish print - you can see parts of the picture disc thru the clear parts of the sleeve - it is in Excellent condition.
