You are bidding on a 1979 US pressing copy of the Cars - Candy-O LP released by Elektra Records in 1979. This is ELEKTRA 5E-507. In the dead wax on both sides of the records, the PRC-W inscribed indicates that this record was pressed at PRC Recording Company in Compton, California. The record jacket has been signed by all five band members! All signatures are on the back of the jacket, four of them in marker and Benjamin Orr's signature is in black pen. The record is in VG condition with some light wear/light scuffs. The record jacket is in VG condition, with some shelfwear/edgewear/ringwear. There are several small, light creases along the spine of the jacket as well as top/bottom edge, plus the top corners also have light creases on the front. The main attraction here, the signatures on the back of the jacket, still look nice and glossy for all the four signatures in marker. Benjamin Orr's signature is pretty light as it appears that the pen he used did not have alot of ink, so it is not quite as visible as the others. The printed record inner sleeve is in  VG- condition with some wear. The bottom seam of the inner sleeve has a 3 inch seam split. One of the top corners of the inner sleeve is heavily creased. Mint (M) - an unplayed, new copy of a record. no visual defects!

Near Mint (NM) - a nearly perfect record that has usually only been played 1-3 times, in "like new" condition.

Very Good + (VG+) - record still in excellent condition but has minor signs of wear such as surface scuffs/light scratches that don't affect the play. jacket has minor signs of wear such as light ringwear, edgewear, shelfwear, and/or light creasing.

Very Good (VG) - record has more wear than VG+ and may have some slight surface noise, light pops, some scuffs or scratches.  generally still a great playing copy.  jacket may have more wear, writing, sticker residue, punch out/cut out holes or corners.

Very Good - (VG-) - record has noticeable groove wear, surface noise, scratches, and/or scuffs but still a decent playing copy. jacket has heavier wear and may have a small split seam.

Good + and Good (G+ and G) - record still plays without skipping but has considerable amounts of groove wear, surface noise, scuffs, and/or scratches.  jacket has alot of wear and some defects such as split seams, heavy creasing, writing, marks, sticker residue, etc...
