Up for sale is one(1) The Cars - Self Titled Debut LP from 1978 STILL IN THE SHRINK with the original Hype Sticker on Elektra Records (#6E-135). This is a frist pressing.  NO BARCODE. 

This LP features the big hits Just What I Needed and My Best Friend's Girl.

I RECENTLY PLAYED THIS LP AND IT SOUNDS AWESOME!

The vinyl is in very good+ condition(bordering on excellent). Has STERLING and PRC stamped in the dead wax on both sides. Nice clean red with some minor spindle marks and a date written in pen on Side One. 

The custom inner lyric sleeve is in Very Good+ condition with 1 very small split seam at the bottom.

The cover is in very good+ condition and has the original hype sticker with typical wear from age, including, but not limited to dings, crumples, and ring wear. The shrink wrap is a little loose and there are a few rips and tears.

The Hype Sticker is in Very Good+ condition but has 1 small crinkle in the upper right corner. 

I obtained this LP used in the early 1980's. It was gently played back in the day. I haven't played this LP in over 30 years. it has been in storage ever since.
