Artist: THE CRICKETS
Title: “The ‘Chirping’ Crickets”
Label: CORAL. Made in England. Monaural pressing on medium weight vinyl. Label is black with silver text, with deep groove. Catalog number is LVA 9081.

Condition:
DISC: Vinyl is nice VG+ with full original gloss. Has been played a small number of times and handled with care. There are several faint marks that produce very soft tics in a couple places, but no loud clicks or pops. Plays very enjoyably with superb fidelity. Labels are clean. A very nice playing copy.
JACKET: Jacket is nice VG++ with bright artwork. Seams, spine, and surfaces are excellent. A bit of chipping on seams and at corner tips. Reverse has original owner’s signature at the upper right; otherwise jacket is clean. Overall a very fine jacket.

Other Crickets classics include "Not Fade Away," "Maybe Baby," and "I'm Looking for Someone to Love." The rest of the 12 tracks are not up to the standard set by those five, but those five are among the best rock & roll songs of the 1950s or ever, making this one of the most significant album debuts in rock & roll history, ranking with Elvis Presley and Meet the Beatles.”
