Description
THE CHIRPING CRICKETS, Brunswick BL-54038, black label, deep groove pressing.
Condition of record looks E, no scratches, some light overall scuffing, several spindle marks, plays very well with slight occasional surface noise. This is a styrene pressing, and considering the very fragile nature, the record plays very well. Jacket shows some overall wear, top seam is split almost halfway across.
Here is a very nice copy of a truly rare item - an original pressing of the first Crickets album featuring Buddy Holly, released in 1957.
The tunes are Oh Boy!, Not Fade Away, You've Got Love, Maybe Baby, It's Too Late, Tell Me How, That'll Be the Day, I'm Lookin' For Someone To Love, An Empty Cup, Send Me Some Lovin', Last Night, Rock Me My Baby.

Media Mail in US is available if requested, but we take no responsibility for delays. We DO NOT recommend Media Mail - it has become very slow and unreliable. We WILL NOT ship Media Mail packages without insurance.

We play grade all of our records on quality equipment. We offer a money back guarantee that condition is as described. Plus (+) or Minus (-) indicates variations.
M = Mint. Brand new, unplayed.
E = Excellent. Some evidence of having been played, with no audible defect.
VG = Very Good. Noticeable wear, visual and audible. Records with slight surface noise and/or scuffs fall into this category.
G = Good. Not really all that good. Records in this category have more significant damage or wear.
F = More severe damage, distracting surface noise. Only used in incidence of extreme rarity.
P = Poor condition, proves existence of record only.
