Description
3 x 1st Press UK Clash Lps in clean playable condition. All vinyls are clean with hairlines, brushing lines, scuffs and some groovewear. You would say they have been pretty heavily played but not abused. They have no obvious faults or feelible marks that should cause skip or jumps. I played passages of these, all sit flat on turntable and play clean and loud. Some ticks between some tracks.
The sleeves and labels are all very decent. Probably as close to VG+ as VG. They are all clean with light to moderate wear and free from writing, rips, stickers or sticker tears.
Postage cost includes tracking and a box mailer. :
VINYL GRADED FIRST.
CLASH- 1st self titled (A6/B3). 1ST UK pressing. 1977. G+/VG. Played most of today this including all of Side 1, plays better than VG, nearer to EX.
GIVE EM ENOUGH ROPE (A1/B1). 1ST UK Pressing. 1978. G/VG: Sleeve very close to VG+. No issues.
LONDON CALLING (A1/B1/A2/B2). 1ST UK Pressing. 1979. "Train in Vain" not credited to label or sleeve but on record and referred to to in deadwax. G+/G+/VG. Both discs play clean. Sleeve not far off VG+. No issues. Inners also in better than average condition. Both have light wear and one has a 1" split to centre of bottom edge.
Packed these weigh nearly 1kg. Postage cost includes insurance, tracking and a quality box mailer.
PLEASE CHECK OUT MY OTHER PUNK/NEW WAVE/PROGRESSIVE/CLASSIC/HARD ROCK LISTINGS IN MY EBAY SHOP. Grading system: I use UK’s “Record Collector” Grading system. I DO PLAY EVERY RECORD I LIST NOW even though its often just quite briefly. Please bear in mind you may get a touch of background sound, even if its just on intros and between the tracks on 40-50 year old vinyl records!! :: MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface mark or deterioration in the sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in the sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover, or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable. GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound has noticably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration etc. I will at times use a + or - to indicate when a record falls between the grades.
