Description

The Clash Five A Live bootleg double LP, recorded in Stockholm in 1984, and issued on Scrap Records (198-40217). A rare LP, this is the Clash at their very best - live! The legendary intro - "For all you hip-hoppers, punk rockers, shop-stoppers ... here is the Clash!" is followed by the unmistakeable opening chords to London Calling and you really get a sense of the excitement and energy that the band generated. This is the closest you'll ever get to seeing the Clash live!

Condition

  • The records grade as very good plus (VG+). There is some surface noise, which rarely interferes with the music. There are light surface marks visible under strong lighting, but the discs retain their beautifully glossy sheen.  
  • The sleeve is in very good plus (VG+) condition. There is light edge wear, a couple of light creases and a very small tear on the top edge - this is not a split, the edge is still intact (see pics). The opening edge has no feathering.
  • The record has been cleaned on an Okki Nokki record cleaning machine and placed in a new anti-static inner sleeve. The original inners are included and are in excellent (Ex) condition.
  • Both record and sleeve are in a new protective outer sleeve.

Delivery

Records are securely packaged in a strong Defendapack record mailer, and postage includes signed for delivery and insurance. Records are removed from the sleeve before packing to prevent splits. 

I also offer local pick up in the East Sussex area.
