The Clash Singles Box Set - Japanese 7" VINYL Box Set (with 'White Riot' single sleeve 'SIGNED' BY: JOE STRUMMER!!!

Released Date: December 1979
This Japanese release saw The Clash's first EIGHT 7" Singles in their original sleeves being repackaged together in a 7" box set, with two black and white booklets which contain the lyrics in both Japanese and English. All the sleeves are identical to the original UK single releases. The Eight 7" Singles are housed in a Box (Japanese outer Obi slip is missing).
This Singles Box set is rare enough, but what makes this item EXTRA Special, is that the late, great Joe Strummer has signed one of the 7" sleeves!
I have had this item since it's release and I have only just got it out of storage (it has been in my Mother's loft) - I got Joe Strummer to sign the sleeve to 'White Riot' during the early 80's in Bristol, UK, whilst The Clash were on tour and played two dates at Bristol's Locarno in August of 82'. (item is:100 per cent original - so please bid with confidence).
The Eight Singles in the box set are as follows:
1: 'White Riot' / '1977'. (* WITH SLEEVE SIGNED BY: JOE STRUMMER! - Clear signature in black marker pen).
2: 'Remote Control' / 'London's Burning' (Live).
3: 'Complete Control' / 'The City Of The Dead'.
4: 'Clash City Rockers' / 'Jail Guitar Doors'.
5: 'White Man In Hammersmith Palais' / 'The Prisoner'.
6: 'Tommy Gun' / '1-2 Crush On You'.
7: 'English Civil War' / 'Pressure Drop'.
8: 'London Calling' / 'Armagideon Time'.
Condition: Box is in great shape for it's age - VG-EX, although there is some general wear and the corners of box have been repaired sensitively with tape.
Sleeves/ Vinyl: All EIGHT Singles are in EX/EX / Sleeves have no creases or tears, as they have been stored away in the box / Vinyl: all 8 x 7" look unplayed and have no markings.
