DESCRIPTION: The Clash- White Riot/1977. Original A-label promo release. With "Release date 18th March 1977" text. With 1st press picture sleeve. Please note postage cost includes full insurance and tracking. UK postage for this is Royal Mail Next day Special Delivery 1pm, overseas must be tracked/signed with full insurance.

CONDITION (VINYL/COVER): EX/VG+. Vinyl is very clean with a nice sheen. Played both sides of this tonight. Sits perfectly flat on turntable. Sounds Excellent throughout. Music is very clean, clear and loud. Sleeve is in really clean condition, free from the usual discoloration. It has been stored in a poly sleeve with the record in a separate white inner,separated from the disc by a square of cardboard. The cover retains good shape with light to moderate edge-wear, light to moderate corner-wear and light to moderate creasing/feathering to opening edge. It has no edge splits. Labels are both very clean and white with no writing, rips, stickers or sticker tears.
GRADING SYSTEM: I use UK’s “Record Collector” Grading system. MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface mark or deterioration in the sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in the sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover, or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable. GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound has noticably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding,scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration etc. I will at times use a + or - to indicate when a record falls between the grades.
I am just starting to sell off my very extensive record collection, built up over 40 years. I have hundreds of rarities in fantastic condition from many genres including blues, punk, metal, britpop, progressive, kraut, classic and hard rock. Almost all of the records i list will be in at least VG+ condition. The only exceptions would be some extremely rare records. PLEASE ADD ME TO YOUR FAVOURITE SELLERS LIST.
