Description

This listing is for an copy of the Rock Against Racism (RAR) produced Temporary Hoarding newspaper that folds out into a large poster which was produced to be sold at Victoria Park, at the first Carnival Against the Nazis, that took place in Victoria Park, East London on 30th April 1978. The newspaper folds out into a superb large montage poster that features the acts taking part and anti racist quotes from the artists (credited to Rankin' Rarla). It is a great piece of socio-cultural history and an authentic, archetypal example of the punk rock aesthetic circa early 1978

Condition: Very Good vintage condition. No pin holes, creases or significant tears. Only very minor wear and a little discolouration along the top margin of the cover which is consistent with the paper stock of this era. The folded out poster has sharp edges and white paper and displays beautifully. Please inspect the photographs carefully as they form part of the description.
